Enuresis Treatment Center Director, Leslie Miller, volunteered last weekend to help raise money for a SCAMP summer camp program. For the past twenty-five years she has been a volunteer with Variety-Detroit, a children charity.
Variety supports the SCAMP program in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. SCAMP seeks to provide an exciting and therapeutic summer program for individuals with disabilities with ages ranging from 3-26 years old in the Metro Detroit area.
Bloomfield SCAMP and FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation held an event to raise money for scholarships to benefit the summer camp programs. FAR promotes understanding and provides education for children and adults with special needs through therapeutic opportunities in the arts, recreation and leisure that enrich its clients, their families and the greater community. Bloomfield SCAMP, “The Original SCAMP”, was founded in 1967 and was the first summer camp in our area to provide a summer program for individuals with disabilities. Their website is www.bloomfieldscamp.com
